We are two George Mason University film students programming an exhibition of films that showcase the perspectives of individuals that identify as “OTHER”. This could involve race, sexuality, gender, religion, unique interests, etc. We are looking for films where people feel socially rejected/different, but end up embracing who they are.

Although it’s the first year in the making, I AM OTHER is a film exhibition that allows for filmmakers of any level of experience to share their voice. We want to put together an uplifting showcase that celebrates individuality. The selected filmmakers will have a chance to speak about their work and explain their connections to this theme.
